Second to Divi, is Themeisle.  This company gives you some amazing free themes.  They are beautifully designed and mobile responsive.

I still recommend you check out their paid themes too.  The Oblique Pro theme has a beautiful blog layout.

EMAIL MARKETING & LIST BUILDING

If you are just starting out, I prefer this email marketing system for you.  It allows you 1000 subscribers for free, automations, customizable templates, and analytics.  The interface is also a lot easier to use.

This is an essential tool for your business.  You must grow your email TRIBE.

The next level up in your email marketing strategy.  ActiveCampaign lets you do so much more.  You can tag subscribers based on their actions, then send a specific campaign to the people with a specific tag. This makes your email marketing more powerful because you are sending the right content to the right people.

It makes it look like you are reading your audiences’ minds.

“A picture says a thousand words.”  With great graphics, comes a great audience.  Canva is a free online tool that allows you to create great eye popping graphic even if you are not a professional graphic designer.  It gives you templates to create your social media posts, your blog images, and lead magnets.

OFFICE & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Evernote is my mobile notebook.  This tool allows you to have multiple notebooks for different parts of your business.  You can take pictures of your receipts, take voice notes, record meetings, conferences and share notes with your team or the public.  It also has a presentation mode to turn any note into a presentation, great for walking your team through some brainstorming sessions.

Dropbox is an amazing cloud storage tool.  It allows you to collaborate with your team members and clients.  You can use the share links to deliver your opt in content.

It syncs with your computer so you can work on the go offline then sync it later when you get to WiFi.  This is an essential tool in your online business toolkit

Asana is close to perfect.  Close!  This project management tool allows me to stay focused on what is important.  It’s more than a to do list, it’s a system that lets you create your process workflow so you know exactly where you are in your projects.

You can plan your yearly goals, create content calendars, plan vacations, whatever you want to plan and track you can do it here.

This one was hard to choose because there are a lot of great free resources, but creative market give you a balance of both free and paid.

When you sign up theu give you 6 free goodies every week, and paid resources are really affordable.

For more image manipulation such as removing background, adding gradients, and masks, I use GIMP.  I’m not in here a lot, if I want to so something quick I go to it.  For bigger stuff, I send my images to a professional graphic designer.

This is an open source program, that can do almost as much as Adobe Photoshop.

SHOPPING CART & PAYMENT GETWAYS

Use this as shopping cart and a portal that accepts payment via paypal, stripe and other payment getways

Comparable to gumroad but no where near as expensive as Samcart.

No need to say more.  Accept payment safely for both you and your customers.  Allows payment plans, subscriptions.  However you can accept payment, Paypal is likely to have it.

Alternative to Paypal.  Some people just don’t like paypal, or paypal may not accept their credit cards.

You can use SQUARE as well if you sell physical products.

COURSE CREATION

My screen recording and video editing tool.  I graduated from using iMovie.  I can do more with this system that iMovie or Moviemaker will allow.

This is the exact microphone I used for my webinars, courses and lives.

It is not big or bulky, so I’m able to take it anywhere with me.

While you can use YouTube, even unlisted once people have the link they can share it out.

Vimeo allows you to decide what viewers can do with your video, you can restrict downloads and shares, and customize the player.  Perfect solution for hosting your paid content.
